Description

These crispy honey balsamic Brussels sprouts feature a sweet and tangy glaze with caramelized edges, making them a delightful side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden and crispy, shaking the pan halfway through.
  5. In the last 5 minutes of roasting, drizzle the honey and balsamic vinegar mixture over the sprouts.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with optional nuts if desired.
