Description

Crispy and flavorful kale chips that make a healthy snack or a crunchy side dish.


Ingredients

  • 6-8 cups Fresh Kale, torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Nutritional Yeast
  • 0.5 teaspoon Chili Powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse the kale leaves thoroughly under cold water and dry completely.
  3. Remove the tough stems and tear the kale into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the kale pieces with olive oil and massage the oil into the leaves.
  5. Add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt to the bowl. Toss to distribute the seasonings evenly.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the seasoned kale in a single layer.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes, keeping an eye on them to prevent burning.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly on the baking sheet.
  9. Transfer the kale chips to a glass mug for serving.
  10. Enjoy immediately or store leftovers in an airtight container.

Notes

Make sure the kale is completely dry before adding oil and seasonings. Keep an eye on the chips while baking to prevent burning.
