Description

A flavorful experience of ground beef balanced with sweet raisins and tangy olives, creating an unforgettable, savory-sweet harmony.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup green olives, sliced
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in bell pepper, olives, raisins, tomato sauce, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Reduce heat and let simmer for 20-25 minutes until flavors meld.
  5. Serve over rice or as a filling for tacos or empanadas.

Notes
