Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup minced meat or mixed vegetables
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- Oil for frying or baking
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Cut in chilled butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add cold water, mixing until the dough forms. Chill for 30 minutes.
- In a skillet, sauté onions, garlic, and ginger until softened. Add minced meat or vegetables, curry powder, and cook until done. Let cool.
- Roll out the dough and cut into circles. Place a spoonful of filling on one half of each circle.
- Fold the dough over and seal tightly using a fork. Repeat until all dough and filling are used.
- Fry in hot oil or bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve with dipping sauces and enjoy!
