Description

These adorable and spooky spider lollipops are a fun Halloween treat that kids will love to make and eat!

Ingredients

  • 10 round lollipops (Tootsie Pops, Blow Pops, or Dum Dums)
  • 80 black pipe cleaners (8 per spider)
  • 20 small googly eyes (2 per spider)
  • Glue dots, tacky glue, or hot glue (adults only)
  • Scissors (for trimming pipe cleaners)
  • Optional: glitter glue, mini bows, stickers, glow-in-the-dark paint

Instructions

  1. Gather lollipops, pipe cleaners, and googly eyes.
  2. Cut pipe cleaners if needed to fit the size of your lollipops.
  3. Twist 4 pipe cleaners around the base of each lollipop to create 8 spider legs.
  4. Shape the legs outward and curve them slightly for a realistic spider look.
  5. Attach 2 googly eyes on each spider using glue dots or tacky glue. Let it dry if needed.
  6. Add glitter, paint, or fun details like mini bows or stickers to make your spiders special.
  7. Place the finished lollipops upright in foam blocks, set them on faux webs, or wrap them individually as gifts.

Notes

Use glow-in-the-dark paint for a spooky night-time effect and involve kids in personalizing their spiders for a fun crafting experience.
