Ingredients

  • 1 cup vermicelli noodles
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup rose syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pistachios, almonds)

Instructions

  1. Soak basil seeds in water for at least 30 minutes until they fluff up.
  2. Cook vermicelli noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a bowl, combine milk, rose syrup, and cardamom powder; chill in the fridge.
  4. In clear glass bowls or mason jars, layer the noodles, milk mixture, and toppings.
  5. Repeat layers until glasses are full, finishing with toppings.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.
