A delightful dessert combining rich cream cheese and sweet figs, perfect for entertaining guests.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup sugar
- â…“ cup melted butter
- 16 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- ½ cup sugar (for filling)
- 1 cup fresh figs, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a lined baking dish to form a crust.
- Bake the crust for about 10 minutes or until golden.
- While the crust is baking, blend the cream cheese, sugar, and chopped figs together until smooth.
- Once the crust is ready, pour the fig filling over it and spread evenly.
- Bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the filling is set.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
Serve chilled or at room temperature. Can be paired with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
