Description

These chicken pillows are filled with a creamy chicken mixture and topped with a savory Parmesan sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Shredded Chicken
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Chives
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 package Crescent Roll Dough
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Spray or Melted Butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut it into triangles as directed on the package.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle, fold over, and pinch to seal.
  5. Arrange pillows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or greased with cooking spray. Brush tops with melted butter or cooking spray.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  8. Gradually whisk in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring until thickened. Add Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  9. Serve chicken pillows warm, drizzled with creamy Parmesan sauce.

Notes

For added flavor, use leftover rotisserie chicken. Customize flavors with your favorite herbs and spices.
