These chicken pillows are filled with a creamy chicken mixture and topped with a savory Parmesan sauce, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Shredded Chicken
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 1/4 cup Chopped Chives
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 package Crescent Roll Dough
- 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
- 1 tbsp Cooking Spray or Melted Butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut it into triangles as directed on the package.
- Spoon a generous amount of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle, fold over, and pinch to seal.
- Arrange pillows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or greased with cooking spray. Brush tops with melted butter or cooking spray.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring until thickened. Add Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Serve chicken pillows warm, drizzled with creamy Parmesan sauce.
Notes
For added flavor, use leftover rotisserie chicken. Customize flavors with your favorite herbs and spices.
