Description
A flavorful and visually stunning beef tenderloin stuffed with a delicious mixture, perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 round Beef Tenderloin Roast
- 2 cups Plain Breadcrumbs
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 large Onion (chopped)
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter (melted)
- 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (finely chopped)
- To taste Salt and Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the plain breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped onion, melted butter, and fresh parsley.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper, mixing well to combine.
- Using a sharp knife, make a lengthwise slit through the center of the beef tenderloin to create a pocket for the stuffing.
- Stuff the breadcrumb mixture into the pocket of the tenderloin. Use kitchen twine to tie the tenderloin at intervals to keep the stuffing intact.
- Place the stuffed beef tenderloin on a roasting pan. Brush the outside with a touch of melted butter and season with additional salt and pepper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
- Let the roast rest for about 10 minutes before slicing to allow the juices to redistribute.
Notes
Use fresh breadcrumbs for optimal stuffing texture and don’t skip resting the meat post-cooking for juiciness.
