A simple and fun recipe for your pup to enjoy during the festive season, made with safe ingredients like rice cereal, peanut butter, and carob powder.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups plain rice cereal or low-sugar oat cereal
  • 1/2 cup unsalted peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt or pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup carob powder
  • Optional: Finely chopped freeze-dried beef liver or apples
  • Optional: Sprinkle of parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cereal.
  2. Heat the peanut butter until runny (but not hot).
  3. Mix in the Greek yogurt for a creamy texture.
  4. Drizzle the peanut butter mixture over the cereal and stir gently to coat.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a zip-top bag, add carob powder, and shake to coat.
  6. Spread the coated mixture onto parchment paper and let it dry or freeze for 5 minutes.

Notes

Adjust the ingredients to your dog’s preferences. Always ensure no chocolate or raisins are included as they’re harmful to dogs.
