A delightful dessert combining classic apple and cinnamon flavors with caramel for a sweet, comforting pie.
Ingredients
- 1.75 cups Flour
- 1.25 cups Sugar
- 3 whole Eggs
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tbsp Instant Vanilla Pudding
- 0.75 cup Oil
- 0.33 cup Milk
- 2 whole Apples (blended)
- 3 whole Apples (sliced)
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 cup Sugar (for topping)
- 1 tbsp Butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie dish.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, 1.25 cups of sugar, eggs, baking powder, instant vanilla pudding, oil, and milk until well combined.
- Fold in blended apples and cinnamon into the mixture.
- Pour half of the apple batter into the pie dish and layer with sliced apples on top. Pour the remaining batter over the apples.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Melt the butter and mix with 1 cup of sugar until glossy. Drizzle over the pie for a caramel effect.
- Allow the pie to cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, refrigerate for a week, or freeze for two months.
