Ingredients
- 2 cups finely chopped mushrooms (cremini or shiitake)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (thyme, oregano)
- 1 package puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a pan, sauté the mushrooms, onion, and garlic in olive oil until golden and fragrant.
- Allow the mixture to cool, then combine with cream cheese and herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
- Unroll the puff pastry and cut into squares.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square, fold, and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with egg wash.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
