Description

A quick and delicious pesto chicken flatbread loaded with gooey cheese and your choice of fresh veggies, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Flatbread/Naan (Use store-bought for quick prep.)
  • 1 cup Shredded Chicken (Rotisserie chicken works great.)
  • 1/2 cup Pesto Sauce (Homemade or store-bought.)
  • 1 cup Cheese (Mozzarella, shredded; feel free to experiment with different cheeses.)
  • Fresh Veggies (Optional: Tomatoes, spinach, bell peppers, etc.)
  • Balsamic Glaze (Drizzle after baking for a gourmet touch.)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven.
  2. Layer the flatbread on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread a generous layer of pesto over the top.
  4. Top with shredded chicken, cheese, and your choice of veggies.
  5. Bake until the cheese bubbles and the edges crisp up.
  6. Slice and optionally add fresh arugula on top before serving.

Notes

For extra crispy crust, place flatbread directly on the oven rack during the last few minutes of baking. Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
