A delicious vegan twist on cinnamon swirl bread that is soft, sweet, and perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm almond milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup vegan butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Combine flour, yeast, and warm almond milk until smooth. Allow the dough to rise for 1 hour.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar for the swirl filling.
- Once doubled in size, roll the dough out and spread the cinnamon mixture evenly.
- Roll the dough tightly into a loaf shape and place it in a greased loaf pan.
- Allow it to rise again until doubled.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
Notes
For best results, ensure almond milk is warm (not hot) to activate the yeast.
