Description

A delicious vegan twist on cinnamon swirl bread that is soft, sweet, and perfect for sharing.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm almond milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup vegan butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Combine flour, yeast, and warm almond milk until smooth. Allow the dough to rise for 1 hour.
  2. Mix cinnamon and sugar for the swirl filling.
  3. Once doubled in size, roll the dough out and spread the cinnamon mixture evenly.
  4. Roll the dough tightly into a loaf shape and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  5. Allow it to rise again until doubled.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) until golden brown, about 30 minutes.

Notes

For best results, ensure almond milk is warm (not hot) to activate the yeast.
