Description
These Dorito Chicken Tenders are crunchy, cheesy, and quick to make, providing a satisfying alternative to traditional chicken tenders.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 6 oz Doritos, crushed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 2 Tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F or air fryer to 400°F.
- Crush Doritos into fine crumbs.
- Set up a dredging station with seasoned flour, egg wash, and crushed Doritos.
- Pat chicken tenders dry and lightly season.
- Coat chicken in flour, then dip in egg wash, and finally press into Dorito crumbs.
- Place on a wire rack and bake for 12-15 minutes or air-fry for 8-10 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Notes
For extra crunch, add cornstarch to the flour. Serve with ranch or spicy sriracha mayo.
