Description
Deliciously simple appetizer featuring goat cheese and blackberries wrapped in flaky puff pastry.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz goat cheese, softened
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Flour for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into rectangles.
- Spread a mixture of goat cheese and fresh blackberries onto half of each rectangle.
- Fold over the pastry, seal the edges with a fork, and twist each piece beautifully.
- Brush the top of each twist with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake them until they puff up and turn a golden brown, about 20 minutes.
