Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- Optional: vegetables like peas, corn, or diced bell peppers
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef with chopped onions and minced garlic.
- In a baking dish, combine the browned beef, uncooked rice, beef broth, and seasonings.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
- Remove the foil, bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
