A quick and easy recipe for teriyaki chicken made in a slow cooker, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 4 pieces Boneless Chicken (breasts or thighs, frozen is okay)
- 1.5 cups Teriyaki Sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tbsp Honey (for glossiness)
- 2 cloves Garlic (optional, minced for extra flavor)
- 1 bunch Green Onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the boneless chicken in the slow cooker.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce and honey over the chicken.
- If using, add minced garlic.
- Cover and set the slow cooker on low for approximately 4 hours.
- For a thicker sauce, whisk cornstarch with water and stir it in about 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve with green onions on top and enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to use frozen chicken, just add an extra hour of cooking time. Adjust sauce to your liking and enjoy leftovers in salads or wraps.
