Description

A refreshing and simple strawberry sorbet made with just four ingredients, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Fresh or Frozen Strawberries
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice or Lime Juice

Instructions

  1. If using fresh strawberries, wash and hull them. If using frozen, let them thaw slightly.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Let it cool.
  3. In a blender, add the strawberries and lemon or lime juice. Pour in the cooled sugar syrup.
  4. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  5. Pour the mixture into a shallow container and freeze for about 240 minutes or until solid.
  6. Before serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften. Scoop and enjoy!

Notes

Garnish with fresh mint leaves or strawberry slices for extra flair. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month.
