Description
A refreshing and simple strawberry sorbet made with just four ingredients, perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds Fresh or Frozen Strawberries
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice or Lime Juice
Instructions
- If using fresh strawberries, wash and hull them. If using frozen, let them thaw slightly.
- In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Let it cool.
- In a blender, add the strawberries and lemon or lime juice. Pour in the cooled sugar syrup.
- Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow container and freeze for about 240 minutes or until solid.
- Before serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften. Scoop and enjoy!
Notes
Garnish with fresh mint leaves or strawberry slices for extra flair. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month.
