Description

A delightful dessert that combines sweet and juicy peaches with a crunchy topping, best served warm with vanilla ice cream.


Ingredients

  • 6 pieces Fresh Peaches (Peeled and sliced)
  • 0.5 cup Granulated Sugar (For sweetening peaches)
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour (For the topping)
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats (Adds texture to the topping)
  • 0.5 cup Brown Sugar (For added sweetness and flavor)
  • 1 stick Unsalted Butter (Melted, to bind topping ingredients)
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (For flavor enhancement)
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream (For serving)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash, peel, and slice the fresh peaches into thin wedges.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches with granulated sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  5. Add melted butter to the dry mixture and mix until crumbly.
  6. Transfer the peach mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the crisp topping over the peaches evenly.
  8. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling.
  9. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

Notes

Use ripe peaches for the best flavor. Adjust sugar based on sweetness of peaches & let peach mixture sit with sugar to release juices.
