A delightful dessert that combines sweet and juicy peaches with a crunchy topping, best served warm with vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients
- 6 pieces Fresh Peaches (Peeled and sliced)
- 0.5 cup Granulated Sugar (For sweetening peaches)
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour (For the topping)
- 1 cup Rolled Oats (Adds texture to the topping)
- 0.5 cup Brown Sugar (For added sweetness and flavor)
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter (Melted, to bind topping ingredients)
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (For flavor enhancement)
- 1 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream (For serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash, peel, and slice the fresh peaches into thin wedges.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches with granulated sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Add melted butter to the dry mixture and mix until crumbly.
- Transfer the peach mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the crisp topping over the peaches evenly.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
Notes
Use ripe peaches for the best flavor. Adjust sugar based on sweetness of peaches & let peach mixture sit with sugar to release juices.
