Description
A creamy, peppermint-flavored dip that is perfect for holiday gatherings, served with cookies and fruits.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar, sifted
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) heavy cream, whipped to soft peaks
- 1/2 cup (60 g) finely crushed candy canes
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the sifted powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add the peppermint extract and vanilla extract, and mix until incorporated.
- Fold in the whipped heavy cream gently until combined.
- Stir in the crushed candy canes.
- Chill for 30–45 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a chocolate-peppermint version, fold in cocoa powder or melted chocolate. For dairy-free, use dairy-free cream cheese and coconut cream.
