Description

A creamy, peppermint-flavored dip that is perfect for holiday gatherings, served with cookies and fruits.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) heavy cream, whipped to soft peaks
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) finely crushed candy canes


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the sifted powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Add the peppermint extract and vanilla extract, and mix until incorporated.
  3. Fold in the whipped heavy cream gently until combined.
  4. Stir in the crushed candy canes.
  5. Chill for 30–45 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a chocolate-peppermint version, fold in cocoa powder or melted chocolate. For dairy-free, use dairy-free cream cheese and coconut cream.
