Description

A rich and flavorful side dish of sautéed mushrooms enhanced with garlic and parmesan.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb cremini or shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown and caramelized.
  3. In the last few minutes, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Finish by stirring in freshly grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-5 days in the refrigerator. Can be frozen for up to three months. Reheat on stovetop over low heat.
