Description
A rich and flavorful side dish of sautéed mushrooms enhanced with garlic and parmesan.
Ingredients
- 1 lb cremini or shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown and caramelized.
- In the last few minutes, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Finish by stirring in freshly grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-5 days in the refrigerator. Can be frozen for up to three months. Reheat on stovetop over low heat.
