Description

Colorful gelatin treats that add a magical touch to any dessert, easy to make and fun for all ages.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fruit juice of your choice (sweetened)
  • 1/4 cup gelatin sheets or powder
  • 1/2 cup water (for blooming gelatin)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Non-stick cooking spray (for molds)


Instructions

  1. Bloom the gelatin in a small bowl with water for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small saucepan, gently heat the fruit juice over low heat.
  3. Add the bloomed gelatin to the juice and stir until completely dissolved.
  4. Pour the mixture into silicone molds.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  6. Once set, remove from molds and store in an airtight container.

Notes

Store gelatin sequins in the fridge for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
