A delicious no-bake dessert that blends creamy cheesecake with the rich flavors of German chocolate cake, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 cups chocolate wafer cookies, crushed
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 egg yolks, lightly beaten
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill it in the refrigerator.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, melted chocolate, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream and spread over the chilled crust. Return to the fridge.
- In a saucepan, cook evaporated milk, granulated sugar, egg yolks, and butter, stirring continuously until thickened. Remove from heat and add vanilla, coconut, and pecans. Let cool.
- Once cooled, spread the topping over the cheesecake layer. Chill for at least four hours or overnight.
- Slice using a warm knife and enjoy!
Notes
For a smoother texture, melt chocolate chips carefully. Adjust powdered sugar for sweetness preference.
