Ingredients
- 1-2 inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced
- 2 cups water
- Honey or sugar, to taste
- Lemon slices (optional)
Instructions
- Slice fresh ginger root thinly to maximize the surface area.
- Boil 2 cups of water in a pot.
- Add the sliced ginger to the boiling water.
- Remove from heat and allow to steep for 10 minutes.
- Sweeten with honey or sugar, and add lemon if desired.
