Description

Ingredients

  • 1-2 inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced
  • 2 cups water
  • Honey or sugar, to taste
  • Lemon slices (optional)


Instructions

  1. Slice fresh ginger root thinly to maximize the surface area.
  2. Boil 2 cups of water in a pot.
  3. Add the sliced ginger to the boiling water.
  4. Remove from heat and allow to steep for 10 minutes.
  5. Sweeten with honey or sugar, and add lemon if desired.
