Description
Fluffy Ukrainian garlic bread rolls that are a delightful addition to any meal, perfect for sides alongside soups or stews.
Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water (110°F to 115°F)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast; let sit until bubbly.
- Combine flour, salt, and oil with the yeast mixture; knead until smooth.
- Allow the dough to rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Divide the dough into 12 pieces and shape into balls.
- Let the balls rise again until puffed.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with melted garlic butter as soon as they come out of the oven.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
