Description

Fluffy Ukrainian garlic bread rolls brushed with garlic butter, perfect as a side for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh herbs (dill or parsley) for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let it sit until bubbly.
  2. Add flour, salt, and melted butter; knead until soft and elastic.
  3. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 30-60 minutes).
  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Divide the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Let them rise for another 15-20 minutes.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Brush with garlic butter and serve warm.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
