Description
Fluffy Ukrainian garlic bread rolls brushed with garlic butter, perfect as a side for any meal.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh herbs (dill or parsley) for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let it sit until bubbly.
- Add flour, salt, and melted butter; knead until soft and elastic.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 30-60 minutes).
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Divide the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Let them rise for another 15-20 minutes.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with garlic butter and serve warm.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
