Description

A silky-smooth dessert featuring the bright zest of grapefruit and topped with crunchy pistachios, creating a refreshing and rich treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons grapefruit zest
  • 1/4 cup fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin powder
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
  • 1/2 cup chopped toasted pistachios
  • Honey for drizzling
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish


Instructions

  1. Bloom gelatin in cold water for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream with sugar and grapefruit zest until warm, avoiding boiling.
  3. Combine bloomed gelatin with the warm cream mixture until fully dissolved.
  4. Stir in fresh grapefruit juice.
  5. Pour the mixture into molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
  6. To serve, unmold the panna cotta onto a plate, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with chopped toasted pistachios and fresh mint.

Notes

Experiment with different citrus fruits or adjust sweetness to your liking. Panna cotta is best served chilled.
