Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons grapefruit zest
- 1/4 cup fresh grapefruit juice
- 1 tablespoon gelatin powder
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- 1/2 cup chopped toasted pistachios
- Honey for drizzling
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Bloom gelatin in cold water for about 5 minutes.
- In a saucepan, heat heavy cream with sugar and grapefruit zest until warm, avoiding boiling.
- Combine bloomed gelatin with the warm cream mixture until fully dissolved.
- Stir in fresh grapefruit juice.
- Pour the mixture into molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
- To serve, unmold the panna cotta onto a plate, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with chopped toasted pistachios and fresh mint.
Notes
Experiment with different citrus fruits or adjust sweetness to your liking. Panna cotta is best served chilled.
