Description

Grilled corn on the cob with a sweet, smoky flavor, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4-6 ears Fresh Corn
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.25 cup Butter (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Herbs (chopped cilantro, parsley, or basil)
  • 0.25 cup Crumbled Cheese (feta or cotija)

Instructions

  1. Select fresh corn on the cob with bright green husks and plump kernels.
  2. Remove the husks and silks from each ear of corn.
  3. Soak the corn in water for about 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (400°F to 450°F).
  5. Remove the corn from the water and brush each ear lightly with olive oil.
  6. Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the corn.
  7. Place the corn directly on the grill grates and grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  8. Remove the corn from the grill and let it cool for a couple of minutes.
  9. If desired, melt butter and brush it over the grilled corn.
  10. Sprinkle fresh herbs or crumbled cheese over the corn while warm.
  11. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

Soak the corn to prevent it from drying out during grilling. Use fresh herbs and cheese for added taste.
