Description
Grilled corn on the cob with a sweet, smoky flavor, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4-6 ears Fresh Corn
 - 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
 - 1 teaspoon Salt
 - 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
 - 0.25 cup Butter (optional)
 - 2 tablespoons Fresh Herbs (chopped cilantro, parsley, or basil)
 - 0.25 cup Crumbled Cheese (feta or cotija)
 
Instructions
- Select fresh corn on the cob with bright green husks and plump kernels.
 - Remove the husks and silks from each ear of corn.
 - Soak the corn in water for about 30 minutes.
 - Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (400°F to 450°F).
 - Remove the corn from the water and brush each ear lightly with olive oil.
 - Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the corn.
 - Place the corn directly on the grill grates and grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
 - Remove the corn from the grill and let it cool for a couple of minutes.
 - If desired, melt butter and brush it over the grilled corn.
 - Sprinkle fresh herbs or crumbled cheese over the corn while warm.
 - Serve immediately while warm.
 
Notes
Soak the corn to prevent it from drying out during grilling. Use fresh herbs and cheese for added taste.
