Description

A quick and delicious guacamole recipe perfect for parties or as a snack. Customizable to your taste!


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 finely diced jalapeño


Instructions

  1. Cut the ripe avocados in half. Remove the pits and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
  2. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocado to your desired consistency—chunky or smooth.
  3. Mix in the freshly squeezed lime juice, red onion, diced tomatoes, cilantro, and jalapeño if adding.
  4. Sprinkle salt and freshly ground black pepper over the mixture. Stir gently to combine. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  5. Enjoy fresh or cover tightly and refrigerate for up to a couple of hours to let the flavors blend.

Notes

Store leftover guacamole tightly covered in the fridge and consume within a couple of hours for best freshness.
