Description

Delightful and spooky Halloween cupcakes perfect for festive gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Buttercream frosting for decorating
  • Edible sprinkles and glitter for decoration


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each liner about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.
  9. Frost with buttercream and decorate with edible sprinkles and glitter as desired.

Notes

Store cupcakes in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months without frosting.
