Description

A fun and refreshing non-alcoholic mocktail combining kombucha and fresh blackberries for a festive Halloween drink.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup kombucha (plain or lightly flavored)
  • 1/2 cup fresh blackberries (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
  • 1/4 cup sparkling water (optional, to adjust fizz)
  • Ice cubes as needed


Instructions

  1. Rinse fresh blackberries under cold water. Gently muddle about half of them in a mixing glass to release their juice, leaving the rest whole for garnish and texture.
  2. In a serving glass, combine fresh lime juice with honey or maple syrup if using, and stir until the sweetener dissolves completely.
  3. Pour in the kombucha carefully to retain the fizz. Add a splash of sparkling water if desired.
  4. Add the muddled blackberry juice and whole berries into the glass. Fill with ice cubes.
  5. Give the mocktail a gentle stir to combine flavors. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh, ripe blackberries for the best flavor. Adjust sweetness to taste with honey or maple syrup.
