Description

Delicious, cheesy biscuits inspired by the famous Red Lobster recipe, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.
  3. Add the cold butter, and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the cheddar cheese and parsley (if using).
  5. Add the milk, and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, brush melted butter sprinkled with garlic powder on top of the biscuits right after baking.
