Description

Delicious pepperoni and cheese-filled rolls with a flaky crust, perfect for snacking or sharing at gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, diced
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup pepperoni, sliced
  • 1 cup cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional herbs and spices (e.g. oregano, basil)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in cold water until the dough forms. Do not overwork it.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  5. Layer pepperoni and cheese evenly over the dough.
  6. Roll the dough up tightly and slice into individual rolls.
  7. Place rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the tops with egg wash.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with marinara sauce or ranch dressing. Can be customized with different fillings or cheeses.
