Description

Delicious homemade garlic bread rolls with a golden crust and aromatic, buttery filling, perfect for complementing pasta or soups.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water; let sit until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, minced garlic, and salt to the mixture.
  3. Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces, shape them into rolls, and place on a baking sheet.
  8. Cover and let rise for a second time until puffy (about 30 minutes).
  9. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Brush with garlic butter before serving.
