Description

A quick, one-pot comfort dish featuring a creamy, savory sauce with pasta and ground beef, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (85% lean)
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through.
  2. Stir in the minced onion and garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  3. Add elbow macaroni and beef broth, then bring to a simmer.
  4. Cook until the pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
  5. Mix in the shredded cheeses until melted and creamy.
  6. Season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to taste.

Notes

For best results, stir the pasta occasionally to avoid sticking. Customize the dish by adding frozen peas or bell peppers during cooking.
