Delicious chocolate cookie cups filled with rich hot chocolate, perfect for cozy gatherings and family treats.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup hot chocolate mix
- Mini marshmallows for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
- Gradually add flour, cocoa powder, and salt; mix until dough forms.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Lightly grease a muffin tin and scoop chilled dough into each cup, pressing down to create a well.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set but centers are soft.
- Remove from oven and fill each cup with hot chocolate mix and top with mini marshmallows.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with whipped cream.
Notes
Use a non-stick muffin tin for best results and don’t overbake to keep the centers gooey.
