Description

Delicious chocolate cookie cups filled with rich hot chocolate, perfect for cozy gatherings and family treats.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup hot chocolate mix
  • Mini marshmallows for topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Gradually add flour, cocoa powder, and salt; mix until dough forms.
  5. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Lightly grease a muffin tin and scoop chilled dough into each cup, pressing down to create a well.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set but centers are soft.
  8. Remove from oven and fill each cup with hot chocolate mix and top with mini marshmallows.
  9. Serve warm, optionally topped with whipped cream.

Notes

Use a non-stick muffin tin for best results and don’t overbake to keep the centers gooey.
