A delicious and easy dish combining crispy bread, savory garlic, melted cheese, and a sweet and spicy kick from hot honey.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf Italian Bread
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 cup Cooked Chicken (shredded, optional)
- 1/4 cup Red Onion (sliced)
- 1/4 cup Bell Peppers (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons Hot Honey
- Salt (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the Italian bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix the unsalted butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, and salt.
- Spread the butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the bread.
- Add shredded chicken, red onion, and bell peppers on top of the cheese.
- Drizzle hot honey over the top.
- Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and cool for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C).
