Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together cold butter and granulated sugar.
  3. Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt to form a dough.
  4. Chill the dough for about 30 minutes.
  5. Spread half of the dough in a greased baking dish.
  6. Layer raspberry jam on top of the dough.
  7. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, oats, and remaining dough to create the crumble topping.
  8. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the jam layer.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
