Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together cold butter and granulated sugar.
- Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt to form a dough.
- Chill the dough for about 30 minutes.
- Spread half of the dough in a greased baking dish.
- Layer raspberry jam on top of the dough.
- In another bowl, combine brown sugar, oats, and remaining dough to create the crumble topping.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping over the jam layer.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
