Description
Delicious and easy garlic parmesan fries that are perfect for parties or movie nights.
Ingredients
- 4 medium Russet potatoes (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and peel the russet potatoes, then cut them into sticks about ¼ inch thick.
- Soak the potato sticks in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain and thoroughly dry the soaked potato sticks with a kitchen towel.
- In a large bowl, toss the dried potato sticks with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned potato sticks onto a lined baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Once done, sprinkle freshly grated parmesan cheese on top while still hot. Optionally add chopped parsley.
Notes
These fries are best served hot and fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
