Description
Crispy, flavorful Garlic Parmesan Fries that are easy to make at home, perfect as a snack or side dish.
Ingredients
- 4 medium Russet potatoes (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and peel the Russet potatoes, then cut them into sticks about ¼ inch thick.
- Soak the potato sticks in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain and thoroughly dry the soaked potato sticks with a kitchen towel.
- In a large bowl, toss the dried potato sticks with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned potato sticks onto a lined baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Once done, sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top while still hot. Optionally add chopped parsley.
