Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons yeast
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for filling)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Mix warm water, milk, sugar, and yeast to create a bubbly mixture.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour and salt, then add the yeast mixture.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth; let it rise until doubled in size.
  4. Form individual balls and fill them with the brown sugar, chopped nuts, and cinnamon mixture.
  5. Fry on medium heat in a non-stick skillet until golden brown on both sides.

Notes
