Description
A bite-sized treat that’s crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, perfect for appetizers or snacks.
Ingredients
- 1 package tortellini
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, salt, pepper, parsley, and basil.
- Dip each cooked tortellini in the beaten egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) until golden and crispy, about 15 minutes.
Notes
Serve with marinara sauce, pesto, or aioli for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
