Ingredients
- 1 cup glutinous rice flour
- 1/2 cup red bean paste
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Water, as needed for dough
- Oil, for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix glutinous rice flour and gradually add water to form a dough.
- Divide the dough into small balls, flatten them, and place a spoonful of red bean paste in the center.
- Seal the dough around the filling and roll it into a ball.
- Dust the balls lightly with cornstarch.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully place the sesame balls in the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
- Remove them from the oil and let them rest on a wire rack.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
These sesame balls are best served warm and can be doused with honey for extra sweetness.
