Description

Delicious shrimp cakes featuring fresh herbs and spices, pan-fried to golden perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Finely chop fresh herbs and mix with shrimp, breadcrumbs, and spices in a bowl.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Chill the patties in the refrigerator for about 15-30 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  5. Pan-fry the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.

Notes

Serve with sweet chili sauce or tangy lime aioli. Can be paired with a fresh cucumber salad.
