These cheesy nachos are the perfect snack for any occasion, loaded with melted cheese and crunchy chips.
Ingredients
- 10 corn tortillas
- 2 cups vegetable oil
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 cup jalapeño peppers
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup chile con queso
Instructions
- Cut corn tortillas into triangles. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to medium-high heat. Fry tortilla pieces in batches until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- Arrange fried tortilla chips on an oven-safe plate. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese evenly over the chips.
- Place nachos under a broiler or in a hot oven until cheese is melted, about 2-5 minutes. Top with sliced jalapeños.
- Serve hot with salsa and chile con queso on the side.
