Description

These cheesy nachos are the perfect snack for any occasion, loaded with melted cheese and crunchy chips.


Ingredients

  • 10 corn tortillas
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup jalapeño peppers
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup chile con queso


Instructions

  1. Cut corn tortillas into triangles. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to medium-high heat. Fry tortilla pieces in batches until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  2. Arrange fried tortilla chips on an oven-safe plate. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese evenly over the chips.
  3. Place nachos under a broiler or in a hot oven until cheese is melted, about 2-5 minutes. Top with sliced jalapeños.
  4. Serve hot with salsa and chile con queso on the side.
