Ingredients

  • 6 cups tortilla chips
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil and brown the ground beef; season with salt and pepper.
  3. On a baking sheet, arrange a layer of tortilla chips.
  4. Sprinkle cooked beef evenly over the chips.
  5. Add a generous layer of Monterey Jack and sharp cheddar cheese on top.
