Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chocolate ganache or jam for filling
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in cocoa powder, flour, and vanilla extract until combined.
  3. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Create indents in the center of each ball with your thumb.
  5. Fill indents with chocolate ganache or jam.
