Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Long-Grain Rice
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 cups Beef Broth (or Vegetable Broth)
  • 1 cup Caramelized Onions
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the long-grain rice and stir well to coat it in the butter.
  3. Pour in the beef broth (or vegetable broth) and bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the saucepan. Simmer for about 15-20 minutes, until the rice is tender and has absorbed the liquid.
  5. Gently stir in the caramelized onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix until well combined.
  6. Remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added depth of flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine when cooking the rice. Ensure that your onions are properly caramelized for the best sweetness.
