Description
A quick and flavorful dish combining salmon with a sweet and tangy mango teriyaki glaze.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets
- 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 spring onions (optional), chopped
- 2 tbsp cooking oil (sesame oil recommended)
Instructions
- Dice the ripe mango. Blend or finely chop for a smooth glaze.
- Combine mango with teriyaki sauce to create the glaze.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Flip the salmon and cook for another 4-5 minutes until flaky.
- Spoon the mango teriyaki glaze over the salmon in the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with spring onions, and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve on rice or with steamed vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days.
